True Nature
From the moment you enter our property, you're enveloped by jungle. The drive from the street to the villas is more like a verdant tunnel than anything. You'll can see how we earn the second half of our name, Hotel/Bird Sanctuary title.
At the front of the property, amid all the lushness is a 'people perch' - a high tower above the treetops that's set up for bird-watchers or anybody just wanting to catch some great views. Our hotel is on the quiet southern end of the island which gets very little boat traffic, so the water is calm and crystal clear. You'll be up for a swim off the large pier or even a snorkel underneath the pier to see lots of sea life.

Artificial Reef and Pier
Many types of fish gather under our pier. Since we already had a Bird Sanctuary, we decided to give the fish a sanctuary aswell, by making two small Artificial Reefs. One was made from an old golf cart chassis and another from the jib of a crane. Both were augmented by local sedimetary rocks. These reefs are at the end of our dock. A nice gentle snorkel within six feet of the steps. If you cannot swim, put a mask on and sit on the steps and watch the underwater world go by! We sell fish food at reception . . .

Group Bookings
Caribbean Villas Hotel is also able to handle every detail of your group's travel. We do not charge a fee to book groups. Take the guesswork out of planning your business meeting, special event, reunion or wedding. We have an outdoor arena to serve all your needs. If you have an annual meeting or a special training session, let us host it for you. We can provide the airport pickup, lodging, catering, etc. In addition we arrange airfare to and from the island, golf cart rental to get around on the island, and sightseeing excursions for your guests.
