Take a short commuter flight to the mainland where you will be picked up by a member of Jaguar Paw's staff and transported to the resort. The adventure begins on arrival. You will cross the clear blue Caves Branch River and hike (about 45 minutes) through the jungle where your experienced guide will point out flora and fauna and answer questions you may have. Then, it's into the river with your tubes to begin your ride through five cave tunnels back to the originating point.

The entire trip will take three to three and a half hours. In the hour or two left before returning for your flight back to San Pedro, lunch will be served and you may avail yourself of the facilities, including a dip in the hotel's swimming pool or perhaps a cool drink.

Glide past entrances from above, filtering mists of jungle light, as you float through underground river caves sparkling with mica-studded stalactites and stalagmites and filled with 1,000-year-old pottery shards, statues of fertility gods and Mayan footprints.
Continue past an underground waterfall leading into the "Crystal Cathedral", a spiritual place used by the ancient Maya.
Feeling adventurous, how about cave tubing?
You will get wet, so carry some dry clothes (remember, shoes get wet, too). This tour can be scheduled with different iItineraries, some take in a trip to Belize Zoo or a trip to the Mayan site at Xunantunich.
